Steel Building Extensions in Rainham, Essex

Having already supplied a smaller general purpose steel building, to a steel processing company in Rainham, Essex. They were now looking for a steel building extension in one of their main manufacturing facilities. Designed to accommodate business expansion, and efficiency initiatives.

We were asked to extend the gable end of the existing buildings and once the extension had been completed, the customer required additional works to link the new building to old to create a steel building extension.

The customer’s production facilities were very busy and co-ordination was required to keep the production facility operations, while we safely installed the new steel frame and box profile cladding system.

The Steel Building extension is 13 metres wide, 6.5 metres to Eaves and 25 metres long. 3 Powered Industrial Roller doors were supplied and installed. 1 at 4 metres wide x 5 metres high. The other 2 are 2 metres wide x 3 metres high.

The external plasitsol box profile cladding system colours are Mushroom Roof and Wall sheets. With Vandyke brown flashings.
