Boiler house for University

We worked closely with a main contractor who was delivering a number of construction projects for the University. One of the projects being a new Steel Building, to house a biomass Boiler and the biomass fuel.

We provided a steel Building, designed to industrial standards. Creating an overall building size of 9.3 meters wide, 21 meters long and 5.5 to eaves. The Biomass boiler manufacturer also required a penetration from the new metal building into the university facility; we had to provide a weather proof link building.

The steel building has been clad with single skin box profile cladding, plastisol coated Goosewing Grey. For additional natural light, GRP translucent panels were installed on the side elevations and well as the roof.
