Steel Framed Structure in Worcestershire
New Steel Framed Structure to extend a busy builders merchant.
We quoted and won the contract to supply and install an extension to an existing site, using our specialised cold rolled steel structure.
The new steel structure joins an existing brick building, and at curtain points is higher than the existing building. Were designed and detailed a metal flashing detail to ensure the connection detail was water tight.
The Steel Structure in Worcestershire has been designed with odd sizes bays to accommodate certain door positions and internal fit out. Which were critical to the end use of the new structure.
The building Steel Frame has created an addition building facility of 7 meters wide x 20 meters long with a height to eaves of 4.2 meters.
All elevations and roof are fitted with non-insulated metal cladding, except the rear elevation. Which was supplied with a Kingspan Composite panel, used in conjunction with our fire base cleats and fire boarding of columns to provide a fire boundary condition.
